Outside of what the Bible has to say about Heaven, I don’t have much interest in reading what others claim to have experienced 🤷♀️
So, reluctantly, I read a book titled Within the Gates (originally called Intra Muros). This book records Rebecca Springer’s heavenly experience.
Her goal was to emphasize how this life connects with the next. It’s not just life on earth before life in Heaven; but there is great continuity between the two.
Rebecca says we are building for eternity during our earthly life.
The purer the thought, the nobler the ambitions; the loftier the aspirations, the higher the rank we take among the hosts of Heaven.

It matters a great deal what you choose to do here as it will carry on into Heaven.
With that as her focus, I was encouraged to live life a little better than before; to keep running with endurance and humility.
I’m not sure if I’d recommend this book 💯. It left you wondering what happened to the author with her failing health. But it’s an easy read while gracefully reminding us to live as He has called us to live 🤍
